CoolSculpting® is a non-surgical and non-invasive treatment for reducing visible fat bulges in various areas of the body. This treatment has been proven safe and effective. It is FDA-cleared for use in the submental and submandibular regions, thighs, abdomen, flanks, bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arms. Additionally, it has been FDA-cleared to improve the appearance of lax tissue in the submental area.

CoolSculpting effectively targets fat cells underneath the skin without damage to the skin or surrounding tissues. Treated fat cells are frozen and then die. The body naturally processes and eliminates these dead fat cells in the following weeks. Treated fat cells are gone for good.
  • Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your CoolSculpting session
  • Some medications, such as blood thinners, may need to be temporarily discontinued to reduce the risk of bruising or other complications during the procedure.
  • Avoid significant weight fluctuations in the weeks leading up to your treatment
  • Mild discomfort, numbness, or tingling in the treated area
  • Stay hydrated in the days following your CoolSculpting treatment to help flush out the destroyed fat cells and support the body’s natural healing process
  • Avoid strenuous exercise or activities that may cause excessive sweating or discomfort in the treated area for a few days following treatment
  • Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments
  • Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or numbness in the treated area typically resolves within a few days to weeks.

Yes, Coolsculpting is both safe and effective. Approved in 2010 by the FDA for non-surgical, non-invasive permanent fat reduction. The technology uses cold to freeze fat permanently. Coolsculpting targets specific areas of the body where stubborn fat is located and uses freezing temperatures to destroy the fat cells in the area. The CoolSculpting system is equipped with a special applicator that is placed on the treatment area, a special gel is applied to the area to act as a barrier between the skin and the cooling pad. While the treatment does destroy fat cells, it does not damage the surrounding tissue.

The Applicator contains a suction device to tightly seal the area so you may feel a light tugging, intense cold, or light cramping around the area, but the process should not be painful.

There is no lengthy recovery period following your CoolSculpting treatment. You will be able to resume your normal activities almost right away. It typically takes around three treatments to attain the desired results.

Results will improve gradually over the next few months. It can take around six months before you see your final results.

Yes, Coolsculpting is both safe and effective. In 2010, Coolsculpting was approved by the FDA for non-surgical, non-invasive, permanent fat reduction.
